ALL"S FAIR! (IN LOVE AND DEEP FAT)

We are going to the fair!!!

A trip to the South Florida Fair. A place where every year they come up with some new delicacy(?) to deep fry. And maybe deep fry and shove on a stick!

Before you start eating fried candy bars, you must eat dinner, we have an abundance of grilled meat

yummy turkey legs, ribs,

and pork roast. can ya hear your arteries clogging??

With the prolific choices assualing you from every angle, you must take your time. Do a lap around the grounds and take stock of yourchoices...........

Cant make up your mind?? keep looking? You mean that fried bologna sammich didn't get ya??

Now the truly fair savvy few know where the GOOD FOOD is....The Florida Hunters association, and that's where I went.

the last picture is venison (deer) burger with wild hog bacon and onions! YUM!!!! I ate it up!!! In the skillet below is two tenderloins of wild hog!

YESTERYEAR VILLAGE

A project that purchased and transplanted many historic buildings from all over Florida, in one quaint little village. I love it!
Are you having fun? I am, I am gonna sit for a minute and watch the folks then, it's OFF for DESERT! What deep fried delicacy awaits me? WHAT shall I choose??? Deep fried twinky, Oreo? there are too many to list.... AND THEY ARE ALL DEEP FRIED!

As I sit and put free fair bandaids to my blistered heels ,I see all kinds of things from right where I sit! I see a diver WAAAAAAAY up there, and Spiderman being pimped for pictures haha, and a clown in a car, and a tiger making faces at me!
I see young folks in heat................

and old folks getting OUT of the heat.......I need desert!!

There is fried dough fried ,candy bars, deepfried peanut butter and jelly sandwich (!??) fried twinkies, fried oreo's. almost everything you can imagine, dipped in batter and deep fried. Is this heaven or hell?

Does that say "FRIED CHEESCAKE"?? We have a winner, gimme that!

Fried cheescake passed inspection. BTW that is caramel and powdered suger on top. It was kinda likea hot crunchy danish, but better!That was fun, I am tired and full, and my feet hurt. See ya later, South Florida Fair (I'll be back on Tuesday)
