Year of the snake brings to mind when my friend, Empress Bee, posed in my front yard with my Boa Constrictor draped in her arms. I thought Charlie was gonna gag, but she did it, just to say she had. There is a picture somewhere, she has it, I think.
So last night was the Chinese New year, and we leave my year, Dragon, behind.I dont put a lot of time or thought into horoscopes, but it is interesting.
So I ended my dragon year in one of my favorite places, my campground. I went out with the man that has been occupying my time/mind lately, and we had a lovely dinner cooked on an open fire. Red rice, mixed veggies and grass-fed steaks, herbal tea, and a long walk in the woods, followed by a campfire and.... well, I have to leave the rest out.. It had never crossed my mind that it was Chinese New Year last night, but I celebrated it. A six year "shelf life" was brought to a halt under the stars. Happy New Year. Many of you (get real Joanne who reads this??hi Jim) may think I am rather brash to post such a private thing... BUT HEY!! SIX FREAKIN YEARS, without a kiss or a hug. Sorry if it is TMI
