Dream a little dream....

I have been relentless on Facebook. Posting and re posting the link to the grant, asking friends to ask their friends to vote. We have made it all the way up to 73 votes, and we have 34 more days to get the rest of the votes (250). I come here when I am not badgering my (former) Facebook friends, and sit and stare at the floor plan I made. We are staying pretty busy, and everyone seems like they are doing well. I know Vinny, the deaf stylist is happy. We regard him highly, and he is so helpful, always looking out for us, and helping. It is like having a big brother at work. He is so kind, everyone likes him. I want nothing more than to provide the very best workspace I can for such a wonderful staff.  Right now, when we get busy, it is so close in there, you have to say "excuse me" at least three times to get your work done. It is pleasant and fun though, and we are all trying to make the best of it until the big move gets here. Now, one way or another... grant or no grant, I am going to see this through. That is, if that is what God has in store for me. I think it is, since I have been feeling it coming on for a year... the feeling that my tiny salon has just been born, and has an exciting life ahead of it.
So for motivation, reflection, or perchance to dream..... I come here and "biggify" my floor plan, and just look at it. This may sound funny to those who don't know me, but I am a full speed ahead person. I go after what I want. Sometimes with less than wonderful results. I am so willing to wait for this, and have it happen when it is TIME for it to happen, that I can think of nothing other than this is God's plan for me, the salon, and my staff. Because of that I am not crazy, well not too crazy anyway. I guess that is why I have focused on this Facebook grant, so that I don't start OCD-ing.
If you who are reading this, have a Facebook page, please log in to it, and search A Couple Gals Salon, there you will see a link for "Mission Small Business" please  use the link and follow the steps to vote for us. We have a long way to go, but we are well on our way to being in the final consideration.
PS, if any of you know how a grant application should read, I would like you to look over my app, and let me know if I get a passing grade.
thanks; Joanne
