Another Sucess Story!!!

Sweet Mollie, a little white Westhighland white, and Maltese cross dog. Abandoned at PB Animal care, and pulled by my group, SOS 4 Paws.

Mollie was spayed and put in foster care. Unfortunately Mollies spay was traumatic to her, and she developed a hormonal crash that led to menopausal symptoms. She became  an old lady overnight, with a leaky bladder. Poor thing dripped and at night she would get all soggy. YUK! The vet put her on pills, and the foster decided they were "poison" and stopped giving her her pills.
In short this poor thing has bounced to five different homes in a very short time. Twp people tried to adopt her, but never got her past the stress of being uprooted and into some state of security. Well naturally, she came to my DOG house, and integrated to my dog pack. I gotta say, Terriers are quick witted, savvy little creatures. She was "one of the girls" in no time, and began doing things in a strict routine, as my girls do. She got her meds, and I added some holistic herbal drops too. She began to get better! My neighbor, and co-worker, Vinny and his roomie have fallen for little Mollie, and we are now doing a "soft" transition. She has gone from spending hours, to a whole day, and now is having her first sleep-over at their house. They are to call me if she become stressed in any way, and I can bring her home, so she can pile in the dog pack and sleep with her buddies.

They have a little dog, a wire coated Chihuahua named Taco, that is being friendly and gracious to her new companion. I will continue to help the transition, with training, and acclimation tips. a ways to go yet, but they are calling her "our new dog", and that's a GOOD thing!!
