His microchip led ACC to his owner, who claimed to have given the dog away to an unknown co-worker (B.S.) But she wants him back.
Here's what goes with that.... a short trip to "nooterville" vaccinations, license tag, citations/fines, and she must post her property as "dangerous dog" territory. See, Forest/Chucho was involved in a dog aggression a few years back, where he and another dog took on a smaller dog. Even thought the injuries to said dog were not severe, the owner made a case against the two aggressors, and there ya go. He is labeled as "potentially dangerous".
It will cost his Mom about $400 to get him back,(she has already paid half of it) and ACC will be making home visits to her. So today I went and visited a not-too-happy, formerly free , doggie inmate.

The homeless guys are sad, I'm certain Forest isn't too happy, and I am uneasy about the whole thing too. But what can ya do? I can't own them all (Laura!)haha

I had the same reaction as Sandee about the owner not being very reliable. Sigh. I know you'll stay on top of this story and look out for Forest's best interests. Good job!
yeah yeah...i know...as much as you'd like to...you can't own 'em all...boo-hoo :(
but it's just good to know that these poor fellas have someone watching out for them!!
