In my past rants, lately I have mentioned the diservice rendered me by Suntrust Merchant services (the salon credit card processor) and Sleek Medspa, a conniving con artist posing as a spa.
First resolution... Suntrust. After contacing my bank and finding out the only way to prevent unauthorized debit activity by these crooks was to close my bank account, which sucked (big time) I did not do that. I kept calling and demanding printed (hard copy) proof that my account was closed and that NO FEES were pending. The first ten calls I was told "we dont do that" the final call I made, I told them I was entitled to a hardcopy of my account status, and if I didn't get it , I would contact the Florida Attorney General. I recieved my full account printout withing five days, stating that my account was closed, early termination fee waived, and nothing due, nothing overdue,account status-CLOSED.
Now, if anything "unsuspected" happens, I can dispute any charge at my bank and they will remove the charge and charge-back to Suntrust!....... Thank you, check that off my bitch list.

Sleek medspa, and the $1275 they owe me for taking my money and closing the store (September 6th). I kept harassing them and I can tell you, they play you out like a big old fish! I complained and demanded to them EVERY monday and Tuesday morning for two months. Last week I told them I want to know whats going on, and there WOULD be consequences . I got no reply, so I went ahead and filed a complaint with BBB. Guess what avid readers! I got my money credited back to my card today! hahahahaha.
I celebrated with a massage at the Chiropractor, as I am a hurting, tired Hairbender right now. then Greek spinach pie at my favorite diner
AND CAKE!!!!!!
I'm home and have a sense of accomplishment in having fought so long and finally persevering . I have chocolate on my breath and peace in my heart. Merry Christmas
Sunday I am going to Miami to see Cirque Du Soliel. I am going to have a good dinner down there too, something special I hope.
Right now, I am going to bed early and give 'em hell tomorrow at work.
PS the Christmas sock is saving Christmas tips for my fututre trip back to the rainforest!!!

Good for you. I'm glad you got these two things resolved to your satisfaction. Things get so complicated at times. If you don't fight they always win.

it REALLY sucks that you have to WASTE so much of your time...just to get what's entitled to you!!

anyway, i'm glad it's all resolved...a load off your mind...now you can move on to better...happier things...like chocolate breath....and cirque du soliel!

Good for you! Too bad that companies don't learn a lesson from this. How many other people are going to have to fight to get their money back? Problem is not enough of us do, so companies aren't honest and decent up front.
