My Weekend Is Different

So my weekend starts when your ends. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are my "weekend"
Being a hairdresser means not ever knowing what the hell is going on all over town on Saturday. I am chained to my chair until the last of whoever takes a notion to get their hairs did, is done with me. Usually I crawl home exhausted.

Last Saturday though, I HAD to go to the grocery, I was out of  COFFEE!!!!! Sunday morning and no coffee at my house = angry bear in a cave=GRRRRRR!
When I got there, legs and feet hurting, I seriously eyed the scooter-carts. I was only afraid of one of my clients seeing me, so I toughed it out. I got my coffee, and they had HUGE chicken leg quarters, buy one/get one , and they had some nice country style pork ribs, got them too! cole slaw fixins, a jug of sweet tea bananas, (brownies/OOPS!)

Sunday started the usual, coffee, croissants& peace on my new "space" my patio. AHHHHH
about 11 a Hispanic party set up in the park. They had a DJ he was LOUD! I drove over and told them the residents (me) would be unhappy and call the police unless they kept the music low enough that we didn't have to party with them. He was SO NICE, and agreed to keep it low. He lied. He played a cowbell half the day.... on a microphone, over the thumping bass.
I lost my mind.
I and other neighbors called the police three or four times during the day. The Hispanic officer reported that he heard NOTHING, another liar. I emailed parks administration, my city commish, later I called them both, my whole House reverberating the thump thump thump of the bass. at 7PM ( yes eight hours of noise) and a lovely short haired female cop (with tattoos) drove by my house and said "I hear them, and I'm  giving them a $250 citation" and off she drove. within two minutes it was quiet, and I sat down to enjoy my barbecued chicken and tater salad and pole beans.
Monday we were faced with a feral dog running the park, and animal care and I procured and placed a humane trap in the park, in hopes of capturing crazy/ frightened/ and/or sick animal. So far, no luck. I got a few more things knocked off the "Tuit List" and tonight I barbecued the ribs, and made southern style cole slaw, and ate it up, chased with (you guessed it) sweet tea (and maybe a couple of brownies)
checklist...
rest, check
yard, mowed and sprayed,check
well fed, oh hell yes!
 dishes, DONE!
laundry,done
Banking and post office, check
dogs, two out  of four are bathed.
Whatever the hell else I cant remember, can stay forgot.
My tummy is full and I am happy. I am rested and ready to take another week on. I haven't felt that way for a while. I know that I have been slacking real bad on taking care of myself. and seeing how much better i feel by being rested and eating a real meal, I just might start to cook more, hopefully

You are eating very well. Love it. Yes you have to take care of yourself. My hat is off to you, I could never do what you do. Never.

Mexican music sucks. Well the crud around here does and it's ALWAYS too loud.

Have a terrific day. :)
