OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

I am not going to presume anything, but I see the possibility of thing maybe, possibly, standing the chance of swinging in my favor. I will say more about it at a later date, but I am (as Daisy the curly cat would say..) a little bit excited!

In other news, I had the insurance company inspector in today. That was weird. I thought it was just for windstorm mitigation, but that guy took pictures of the electric panel, the hot water heater, the plumbing under ALL the sinks and the AC air handler. Has anybody experienced this??For the windstorm stuff he took pictures of the attic, all the trusses, the straps, the decking and nails, the technical stickers on the hurricane Bahama shutters, the tracks for the panels on the doors and the panels themselves stacked in the shed. JEEZE! It's a wonder he didn't ask to see my panty drawer!
There's only a couple more months of down time before the season starts, and I see some potential peeking at me for good stuff. Here's a hint, I may have to update my salon website!

That's so odd. We've never had an insurance guy at our house to look at anything. They just take our word for it when we tell them what we want to insure. I guess they do it differently everywhere?

Well, can't wait to hear about the exciting thing--

Sounds to me like that insurance agent is being TOO NOSY. He has no right to snap photos of your house unrelated to your original business!!! I'll betcha he was taking inventory for the records. In my opinion, he overstepped his bounds. The insurance company should have asked you, and they definitely should have informed you that they were going to rifle through your drawers...

My husband, an ex-insurance agent, says the company is protecting itself. Sounds like they are doing some pre-emptive butt-covering.

I think they should have AT LEAST asked you first. The nerve.
