Another Rainy Sunday

Life on the brink of a large City Park, brings a wonderful new appreciation for the grey rainy Sunday.
While a lot of others are bemoaning the loss of their walk in the park, their picnic, soccer game, letting their dog run amok (disregarding the leash law), fishing and public intoxication.... I, on the other hand get to watch the birds and squirrels run around and the flocks of Ibis that come to eat up the bugs that are forced up from the watersoaked ground. It is quiet, serene, and I enjoy every second of it.
This week at work tried to fool me .  I had a OK first day, but the second screamed "you are going to die penniless!" to me.
I stayed in the salon till 4 pm and hoped, but I had one $20 appointment at 9 am and another $20 appointment at 9:30. My first AND last appointments for the day sitting right there, together. But by Saturday I was balls to the wall, and thought I would not leave there alive!

I was so tired, and dehydrated that I went straight to a restaurant to eat and drink, just so I would have enough energy to go to the grocery and get stuff forthis morning (milk for my cuban coffee and croisants for cream cheese and raspberry preserves!) YUM!

Have a wonderful Sunday, I am off to make some coffee and croisants!

You sound like my stylist. She is either swamped or doing nothing. My hat is off to all you folks that do hair for a living. I can't imagine.

Have a terrific day. :)
