DAMN, DAMN, DOUBLE DAMN

I am just as pissed as I can be! I was so giddy over that print, and I did buy a print, and I have gotten it already.
BUT.......... With no real expectations I gladly offered to send the artist several shots of MY pit bull, Roscoe. I never expected him to turn them into art so quickly but there they were! He sent me a heads up to look at his listings.
THERE WAS MY BOY!!!!

the 8"X12" original above sold for 57 dollars, my sixty dollar bid did not confirm before the time expired.
I watched the item, like I usually do, secretly thinking that he really should have given me the option of buying MY DOG. I would have paid what he asked. I told him that right off, I said "I want an original, I will pay what you ask".
BUT, I had to go to bid F**@9ng war again!
AND I GOT BEAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so F**@ING mad I dont even want the second one, and I dont want his art any more. maybe I should send him a picture of a jackass and ask him for his self portrait.
What?? who me???? pissed? maybe

honey you can do that yourself with photoshop. he just overlaid color on the actual photo. it's no big deal. then he prints it out. the added sparklie stuff is easy to add too. probably took him three minutes. he is a dirtbag selling your dog. buggers.

Perhaps you really aren't the eBaying-type? it's supposed to be fun! Just saying.

Barb's question was exactly what I was thinking!

who wouda thunk it?? said...

yes, I sent him the pics with no strings, but DID tell him I wanted an original.

Bee it is art, done with acrylic and and airbrush, over a photo. The process is called Giclee, and I like it a lot.

Barb, I usually AM a happy Ebayer, and I have almost 400 buys, sore loser is more the issue, (maybe?)

I'm so sorry about this. He should have given you first right of refusal. He really should have.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)
