ROAD TRIP!!!

Today I had a Saturday off! hairdressers dont get Saturdays off.... EVER. That is untill this Christmas, and more good news, next year too!
I have a total of five days off! Tomorrow morning ,I am heading northwest to Okeechobee City to drop off a rehabed reptile. Then on to Sebring to have a look at Lake Sebring, and Highland Hammock State park. Then north some more to Chalet Suzanne, maybe for dinner, but maily to look around. Chalet suzanne is a very old estate turned B&B a long time ago. I will stay in Lake Wales tomoorw night, and then hit Bok Tower Gardens on Monday morning,Since it is December, the Azeleas will be in bloom, and this is what the gardens will look like!
Then a nice long ride back home
It has been a very long time since I had an adventure, and I do love road trips with a loose destination, and loose time schedule. I'm gping by myself so I can change my plans however, or whenever I like. I have no idea where I will stay, which is another little thrill for me.
A little nutty, but fun. I am taking my camera, and will hopefully have some stuff to share when I get home.
BYYEEEEEEE

Bee, the really pricey stuff on the menue is dinner for two, scroll way down and there are some better prices! It scared me too when I first saw it

Loose plans are the best plans. We ate at CS years ago for lunch. It was pricey, portions small, and Dick had to go to Mickey D's for a wee supplement later on. He was not a happy camper! It's a guy thang. Have fun...

Good for you. You have a ball on your road trip. I used to do road trips all the time when I was single. Now I do them with hubby. You're right it's not quite the same when someone else wants to do this or that.

The menu is indeed pricey, but you are dining at a three star establishment. Always more pricey.

Have a terrific time and stay safe. :)
