These are a few of my favorite things (HAUNTS!)

It is nice and chilly here in south Florida this morning! My friend, "Twentyfour At Heart" is celebrating her birthday ,(her 24th, of course, DUHR!)

She has mentioned one of her favorite places, and asked her readers for theirs.

since TFAH is a beach girl, here is my favorite beach, Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge, Martin County, FL. Five mile of pristine Florida beach, dunes and a brackish lagoon, behind the dunes

My "home away from home" is the DuPuis Management Area, in Port Mayaka, Fl near Lake Okeechobee. There is primitive camping (VERY primitive!) surrounded by almost 50 thousand acres of natural Florida wet and dry prairie. here are some picture of my last camp
