The tile guy came today, nice character Canadian, I believe. I have all my lovely tile, and the decorative trim sitting in my bathroom!
YIPPEE!
Here's my favorite part! This guy is a SUB-contractor, meaning they hired him by the day to set tile. They had their grunts do the other (lousy) work.WELL! Tile guy, Adrian AAAAEEEdreeeannn!(think Brando), took one look at the room and refused to put tile on it. He spent the entire day making the foundation for his work just perfect! He took every bit of they durarock down and reset the entire tub, reinforced the wall behind the tub, and made the tub deck like I thought it was going to be originally. I love this guy!!
The yummy part is that creepy contractor has to pay him for it! AND they have to pay him for tomorrow when he comes back to actually set the tile.
Life is good! and my new "spa bathroom" will be too....
sometimes it pays to whine!
