Update from the trenches, (not really)

Mini is on the rebound! She is on a tiny dose of Prednisone, so she is eating like crazy, and gaining weight well. I have been trotting by the vet's office a couple times a week with whatever cash I have from the day, and I have paid off two thirds of the bill in just two weeks. YAY! Right now Miss Mini is hanging out in the yard with the other dogs for the first time since she got sick. She has eaten more than a dozen eggs during her "episode" and I believe she has a fondness for warm food. I dont know if I will have to mash it properlee (like Jeter demands) but I am happy to see her go after her egg/rice/cheese&dry dog food mix.
At work, Neysi and I are really working our booties off! I had hired a new girl, but I could not keep her. I liked her personality real fine, but skills-wise; I have seen more people come back for "fixes" in three months than I have in three years. More to the story, but lets just say, "It didn't work out"

 I went to BJ's wholesale and got some groceries. Tonight I am cooking slow-roasted beef short ribs, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and butternut squash. I have a fresh gallon of milk to break into as well. NO, darlings, no dessert, I am still trying to behave myself!!
diet wise, Saturday I had the first bite of (forbidden fruit) pizza that has crossed my lips since February!!
 I had artichokes, eggplant, black olives and sundried tomatoes. OmG!!! It was good!!!
Gonna go finish cleaning my kitchen so I can mess it up again when I start cooking. I think I need to mop the floor too, crap....
