I waited....

On my last post, my "issues" with AT&T again had reached the boiling point. I called, I explained, I filed a billing dispute, and included all the details.
I waited the mandatory 5 to 7 days. I called today to find out why I had not been contacted by the dispute person.
WANNA KNOW WHY??? because the agent that took my complaint, and even gave me a confirmation case number.... did NOT FILE THE DISPUTE! thats why. Nothing came up under the number when I called today. Even when she filed a new dispute, it did not come up as a duplicate. She told me that if a case had been filed, and she tried to initiate a new one, that it would come up then..... nothing. No dispute filed, me waiting (not so) patiently for contact from a representative.
The guy that took my non-renewal, also MIA; six phone messages, two emails.... no response.
To be clear, this is a landline, business account. I was trying to get this phone service down to a reasonable rate (less than $50 per mo.) Now I am still sitting on a bill of 937$ and waiting for AT&T to probably ruin my credit. They have the tools to do it, they obviously care nothing for their customers. My only recourse is fight back AFTER they hit me.
When I filed the non-renewal; I called to make sure it had been received, Then I called the main customer service and asked if it was noted on my account. (I was told it was). Then, I waited a month to see if my bill went up 13$ (the amount my "contract" saved me per month),it went up.
This is like being in a pissing contest with a giraffe. Seems like there is no way I can win

Good grief. Good grief. What a terrible way to be treated. What happened to customer service? Gone by the wayside.

Have a terrific day. :)
